Pre-Order Policy

We are at the mercy of our distributors and small businesses.
Please be patient if your preorder items are out of stock and not available right away.
Any items ordered must be picked up and paid for at the store.
All preorder products will receive up to 10% off our regular retail price.
Cases must be unopened and unmixed.
Preorder items must be picked up within two weeks of notification of their arrival.
Additional policies may vary per department.

SALE ITEMS
Preorder discount on a sale item depends on the situation. Sometimes the "special" is a price reduction from the Co-op, not the distributor. In this case we can not offer the 10% discount.

NATURAL LIVING
When ordering a product we carry, a 10% discount only applies if you order 2 or more and the total cost is $15 or more. If ordering a product we do not carry, you may order just one item and still receive a 10% discount, as long as the product cost more than $15. Please indicate the brand name on the preorder slip. Orders may take anywhere from a week to 1 month to come in. If you need an item right away, please check with the department manager for approximate delivery dates.

MEAT
All preorders must be made at the meat counter. Preorder discounts are based on volume of purchase. Please check with the department manager. Minimum order for custom-made sausage is 10 lbs.

BEER
There are no preorder discounts on beer.

WINE
Preorders of wine cases will receive a maximum of 10% discount. Co-op members will not receive an additional discount on a case of wine. Additional discounts may only be offered for orders of two cases, or orders of a case of wine when individual bottles cost more than $11 each.

CHEESE
Orders qualifying for preorder discounts:
10% off whole logs of cheese that do not require wrapping or cutting
10% off pre-orders of 10 lbs. or more
10% off any wheels, regardless of size
Co-op members will also receive their 2% or 10% discount at the register.

GROCERY
Case orders from C&S will receive a 7% discount.
Cases ordered from other distributors will generally receive a 10% discount.
Co-op members will also receive their 2% or 10% discount at the register.
Generally, you are required to order a case or more to receive a discount. However , some products can be ordered in 3–6 pieces. Please make arrangements with our grocery manager.

BULK
Minimum orders include 1 lb. of spices or 5 lbs. of coffee.
Dry bulk items can be ordered from 5-10 lbs. and up.
Liquid bulk items are usually ordered by the gallon.
Preorder discounts do not apply to sale items.

PRODUCE
Produce orders must be ordered in the quantity we receive them.
